The Bourne Bus runs every Tue, Thur and Friday 08:30 to 16:00 from all Bourne area villages to Emsworth and Tesco Havant. We also pick up from 09:30 Wednesdays from South Downs villages for local trips.
Each route is 60-90 minutes, so just turn up at one of 30 bus stops and safe pick-up points and get on and get off exactly where you want to!
We link with the 54 bus and 700 Brighton to Portsmouth bus. We no longer visit Chichester as the 700 bus travels regularly along the A259.

On Wednesday we pick up at Westbourne, Southbourne, four Compton and five Stoughton area villages, using bus stops and safe pickup points, giving 1 hour and 35 minutes at popular destinations.

From June 2025 each journey is £3.00 by card but still FREE with any bus pass. We have a cash donation box on the bus.
New 96 Flex Book-a-bus
WSCC has launched an accessible minibus service with fully flexible routes and destinations and no conventional bus timetable, to complement the regular Bourne Bus routes. The 96 Flex bus travels within a flexible zone determined by everyone’s bookings.
- Covers Westbourne and all villages north of the A27 into the SDNP
- Book your seat on the day or up to 24 hours before a local journey
